Andor isn't in the same Galaxy.
Many casual fans overlook Andor. It has no lightsabers, no Skywalkers, no Jedi, no Sith. The show's protagonist - Cassian Andor - is obscure. His first and only prior appearence is in the spin-off movie: Rogue One. Yet never has the Star Wars galxy and its characters felt so alive. The show combines brilliant writing with excellent world building to shine as perhaps the greatest Star Wars work ever created.
Spark of Rebellion.
Andor delves into the theme of rebellion. It follows how Cassian Andor is radicalized to devote his life to fighting the Galactic Empire. Andor's character begins with him stealing from the Empire for self-preservation and evolves as Andor witnesses the regime's unchecked evil. The show is deep and complex as it explores journey of selfishness to sacrifice. Season 1 is about how rebellion sparks, while Season 2 involves the fanning of the flames.
